? Let’s have fun looking into what we planned for our Taipei Honeymoon 06 and what we actually did on that trip..This is our challenge: that perhaps we will make this coming Taiwan tour so much more fun-packed than what we planned!
The (Honeymoon Taipei 06) itinerary we planned..
After about 5 years of marriage, this would be our honeymoon trip. In late March 06 I suggested to visit Taiwan. My wife was elated. We called this a “Mission” – a significant milestone in our lives. This was the brief.
Don’t laugh, please. ;-)

A. Key objectives
1. S-ightseeing. S-hopping. S-nacking. S-oaking in hotel and Taipei life.
2. Experience Taipei life in the quieter weekdays and bustling weekends.
B. Our details
• 2 persons. Married couple in their 30s.
• Guy: worked in Taiwan in 1991; limited experience and knowhow (possibly still operational?) of Taiwan.
• Gal: no experience and knowhow except from tv shows and guide materials. :-)
C. Schedule highlights
Arrival Day – 27 Sep Wed:
1. 540 pm.. Arrival CKS Airport.. Coach to Taipei Main station.
2. Check in TS hotel after Xi Men Ding.
3. Shi Lin night market.
Departure day- 3 Oct Tue:
1. 12 pm.. Check out hotel.
2. 3 pm.. Coach to CKS airport.
3. 625 pm.. Flight RTU (Return To Usual life in Sg.)
Daily fixed:
1. 800 am.. Breakfast in hotel.
2. 930 am.. Adventure begins..
3. 1230 am.. K.O. (“Koon” Out: Hokkien dialect for sleeping).

1. Yeh Liu > Shi Fen > Jin Gua Shi > Jiu Fen > Kee Lung: Miao Kou night market.
2. National Palace Museum > DanShui : Mackay memorials; Red Castle restaurant; Lover’s Bridge; Fisherman’s Wharf; eat at Riverside stalls(?); stroll the Old Streets > Shi Lin night market..
3. Yang Ming Shan National Park: French Cafe; Calla Lily Plantation..
4. WuLai: Old Street; WuLai Falls; Cable Car; Tourist Tram..
5. Taipei 101 > Living Mall > Warner Village > NYNY > Shin Kong Mitsukoshi > WuFenPu > RaoHe St night market.
E. Places to visit

Hua Xi. Gong Guan or Sh iDa. Tong Hua / Lin Jiang street.
Attractions:
Tian Mu. CKS Memorial Hall. Martyr’s Shrine: Changing of guard. Miramar Entertainment Park: Ferris Wheel. Sun Yat Sun Memorial Hall. Discovery Centre of Taipei. Botanical Gardens. Zoo.

Yeh Liu Geological Park · Kee Lung: Harbourside, MiaoKou night market · Train travel to Taipei · Shin Kong Life Main Store.
Day 4: Sat, 30 Sep. Only mee (noodles)?
WuLai Aborigine Town · East Metro Mall · Sogo · Chill at TS hotel..
Day 5: Sun, 1 Oct. To greater heights!
