Our tour itinerary as promised

Remember what you read of the places we hope to visit in our Taiwan tour next month? Here is the first draft of ideas following up on that.. Sketchy ideas of places we want to go and stuff to do there..

Tour basics

Tour starts: On a Wednesday.
Tour ends: The following Wednesday.
Weekends: 1 weekends in between. Weekends are notoriously crowded in Taipei.
Duration: 8 days 7 nights.
Hotel location: Xi Men Ding (Wan Hua) area. Day trips out of Taipei, before returning to hotel each evening.
Tour style: Free and easy do-it-ourselves exploration, lightly guided by planned and prepared ideas..
