TaipeiDreams is essentially..

Who are we?

1. TA means TaipeiAlive.
A nickname I use when advising visitors traveling Taipei in TripAdvisor.com travel megasite.

2. Dave is my real name.
I am the living person behind TaipeiDreams and our Weblogs.

3. My best co-traveler and I.
Married in 2001, my wife (my co-traveler to Taiwan) and I are Chinese citizens of Singapore. Born, bred, found love and work in this sunny city.

We are diligently producing and running inspirational Weblogs – and hopefully, make a simple living of it. :-)

It’s kinda hard to describe: There is an air and spirit carefree and refreshing in the island!

Invigorated, we’ll like to share this Taiwan air and energy with you.

Are we related to any Taiwan tourist organisation?

We are not a travel agency. Or affiliated to any travel-related group.
For Taiwan or anywhere else. Behind our knowledge and love in sharing them with you here, my wife and I are real-life travelers just like you.

Our Taipei, Taiwan trips?

Very briefly, I experienced Taiwan beginning 1991..

• I lived and worked in Hsinchu in 1991.
• My wife and I had a mini 7-days honeymoon trip in Taipei 2006.
• We revisited with our nephews in a fabulous Taipei tour in 2008.

We plan on more trips to Taipei, and spending time in other parts of Taiwan.
